As humans, we tend to overload our thoughts with the bigger picture, whose side are we really on? Are we bottom-line people, focused on the now, or top-line thinkers, looking ahead? Only the market knows. Only a higher power knows. Who do we ask? Who do we blame?

The important thing is respect—respect for the ancients and those who came before us. Everyone lives by their own choices. That’s their creativity. We all want to get what we desire, but it’s about surviving the right way.

As I journey toward the sacred land, I wonder: how did we survive? We have ideas and evidence about it, but can you imagine putting yourself in their place? Not shoes really—most of them were barefoot. They survived crawling scorpions, snakes, spiders, deadly animals, and poisonous plants. Tigers, lizards—we had to face it all. Somehow, we learned to survive, guided by the wisdom of the earth…
