Harnessing Energy Through Focus

The candle burns on my left, and my brain hums with thought. The smoke from the candle feels essential, like a connection to the pure heart's triangle. Your heart matters—it could be the source of attention.

Attention is key in composition. It helps you balance what belongs and what doesn’t. If something doesn’t fit, it’s time to pause and reflect.

Value your attention, and let it guide your interest—like drawing a candle. When you draw a candle, energy flows from it. That energy feeds the candle, and in return, the candle powers your intuition. That intuition becomes the engine that drives your composition.

If your composition needs attention, you’re already in the process of developing everything it requires. Does it need full energy? The more you elevate your thinking, the easier it becomes to channel and build your energy.

This energy now fuels your strength. To strengthen is to harness and direct that energy.

Conducting that energy will take you higher. And to go higher is to open up fully to your practice. If your energy is what drives your practice, it builds your capacity. That’s its purpose. But not all your energy and capacity come voluntarily—they are supported by your attention.

To take it further, you must feel the attention that sustains the energy, which in turn builds your composition.
