ECHOES OF LIGHT

“Dancing Flowers”

"Echoes of Light" was created using photographs taken in 2021. During that time, the artist had an installation on exhibition in Downtown Houston, Texas. The installation featured an immersive set of dynamic lights that filled the space. Visitors could walk beneath the lights or lay down to experience their shifting transitions.

Using a Canon Rebel camera, I explored different angles and scales to capture the installation’s essence. By increasing the shutter speed, I was able to create images that were both steady and blurred, enhancing the ethereal quality of the lights.

The vibrant and colorful effects were refined in Adobe Lightroom. By modifying the color channels, I intensified the hues to create a striking visual impact. In this collection, I aimed to emphasize a bold exposure of red tones while maintaining a contemporary contrast with other colors—an effect that adds depth and intrigue to the final images.

"Dancing Flowers" is currently on display in the virtual gallery. You can explore the exhibition here: Virtual Art Gallery.
